Dear Ones, This week we've arrived at our home in (city) Amritsar, (state) Punjab, (northwest) India. Here, we spend our mornings—-before dawn—-at the Golden Temple in meditation. After this we return to our home here and prepare for a day of teaching. We have taught for the past ten years to at our school—-Miri Piri Academy . . . the creation of Yogi Bhajan—-where students come from all around the world to receive a classical education enhanced by the spiritual subjects—-the essence of Dharma, Yoga, Meditation, Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, Martial Arts, Metaphysics, Lifestyle Success Skills and much much more. Under the profound guidance of our teachers and staff.Yogi Bhajan created this curriculum of "values based education." This is education based in inspiration as well as academics. It is an education for the 21st century and is open to every student who wants to master their life with ancient wisdom in this modern world.Every morning we are picked up—-by our driver of eight years (Kashmira Singh)—-at 3:30 AM and ride a timeless 15 minutes from the school to the Golden Temple through the streets of Amritsar. This is a temple—-sitting on the Earth and rooted in the Cosmos—-where you instantly experience physical spaces that have been constructed to correspond to your exact spiritual dimensions. You sense your natural healthy human radiance awakening. It then comes to gracefully live inside you—-like a best friend—-throughout the day.Meditation on the Shabd Guru (Kirtan—Scriptural music) is an active part of the lives of the 75,000 people who visit this Temple daily. Each of them fed physically and spiritually by the food and the Kirtan shared 20 hours every day. In addition, scripture—-Siri Guru Granth Sahib—-is read 24/7/365 and the result is an exalted vibration you can touch it with your senses. With this combination of spiritual technology and artistic mastery this is one of those places called—-heaven on the earth.Daljeet Singh—-our student and videographer—-is absorbing what we've been doing for dozens of years . . . all in the course of this two weeks.Even the fish are at ease in the safety of this sacredness—-since those who worship here are vegetarian—-they have nothing to worry about except perhaps the effects of too much food.Yoga, Meditation, Humanology and Spirituality classes—-at the school—-are attended by some of the most inspired students I teach anywhere in the world. Working with a solid curriculum of Math, Science, English, and other standard subjects—-they are far more prepared for this world because of the additional spiritual subjects that create awareness of the reality of relationships with GOD and with each other. After all, our world runs on relationships. The grounds to this campus are the artistry of one Deva Singh Khalsa of South Florida where he owns one of the nations top landscaping companies Nanak's Landscaping. The detail of his work has turned a school in a farm field into an oasis.Playing fields for all sports—-night lit for the hotter weather playing after sunset. With Love, Blessings, Prayer and Gratitude,Guru Singh and Guruperkarma Kaur
