Squeezing in a quick post....before I leave again for Central Australia.
I'm back from my trip to New York, where I did not stop, with my partner in travel, Chris, who is also my sister in law and best friend!
How do I describe my trip in one quick post?
Well, I can't, but what I can do, is show you some of the 1500 photographs I took whilst visiting this fantastic city.
The art..........oh the art.
Getting up close and personal with the likes of Motherwell, Kline and Rauschenberg, was a dream come true for me.
Meeting up with this great gal.....I know, I look a bit bleary eyed and frazzled, and it wasn't even me drinking the martinis :)
Had allot of fun meeting Jeane and her friend Lis at the MoMA, also with Kate and her friend Carole.
Very hard to concentrate on art, when all we wanted to do was talk and catch up and get to know one another.
The food..........oh the food, from eating squid with spaghetti in a real "Soprano" style cafe to eating fresh bagels and cream cheese, my cousin Steve bought for breakfast.
Then there was the New York cheesecake, not to mention coffee and crema cornetto at Zibetto with Peter.
